Backpacking trip from Tuolumne Meadows to Sunrise Lakes to Cloud's Rest to Half Dome and ending at Yosemite Valley.

The squirrels up here were all fat and happy, no doubt because of all the easy food they have access to.
I, of course, had to take this obligatory shot. After coming back and looking at the pics, I realized they weren't as cool as they could be.
A much cooler shot would be if I was even closer to the edge, preferably with me sitting and my feet dangling over the edge.
Judy refused because she was too scared to watch me go out to the edge. So I asked someone else to take the pic. I guess he took this test shot of Judy.
This one's cool because it's in portrait mode. It really gives a good perspective of how high you really are!
Getting ready to descend back down the cables. Cloud's Rest is in the distance. Yesterday, we were there looking here!
VIDEO: Judy shows the descending technique, albeit slowly. Just slide your hands along the cables and walk down the slope.
Judy over halfway down. We were told that yesterday there were 4 lines of people ascending/ descending the cables - 2 lines along each cable!
A group of women who were waiting to go up cheered Judy's finish. One said it was "inspirational" as she put on her gloves and mustered up the courage for her ascent.
Even after doing the cables, Judy was still worried about the relatively steep hike down. Of course, it turned out to be no problem. Here's Judy successfully finishing Half Dome.
