My new iMac!
[ Blog Entry ]
The outer Amazon box is pretty beat up from shipping.
Air bags on the inside to protect the iMac box.
Oooh, aaahhh! Even Apple's carton packaging looks awesome.
Pretty cool, each side of the box shows the corresponding side of the iMac.
The iMac actually looks really nice from behind. Too bad that my setup won't really show off the iMac's backside ass-ets.
The top of the box with a nice carrying handle.
Close-up of the iMac's specs printed on the top of the box.
Upon opening the box, you're greeted with a nicely laid out tray containing the keyboard, mouse, power cord, phone cord, and documentation/discs.
Removing the tray, you see the iMac is held in the middle of the box with styrofoam blocks.
My new iMac. What a thing of beauty!
Here's my iMac next to the old G4 tower that it's replacing.
Running the Apple Transfer Assistant which transfers all of your settings and data from your old Mac to your new Mac.
The transfer went without a hitch and my new Mac's all ready to go!
The G4 now sits on Judy's desk primarily as a web/email station primarily for her. I haven't decided yet which Mac I'm going to use to run RohJuh.com.
I've got far more desk space and far less cable clutter. The iMac rocks!
Close up shot of my new toy. The screen is absolutely fantastic! On-screen is the latest development version of the V4 RohJuh.com.
